Paprika is a ground spice made from dried red fruits of sweeter Varieties of the plant Capsicum annuum. It is traditionally made from Capsicum annuum varietals in the Longum group, It is used mainly to add color to the dishes as it has very mild flavor. Paprika oleoresin is an oil-soluble extract from the fruits of Capsicum annuum or Capsicum frutescens. Paprika oleoresin is frequently utilized for colouring purposes to give a subtle red–orange colour to the food products. The color is between red and orange which is great to use in foods and seasonings.
